The Amazon Rainforest
The Amazon rainforest is a rainforest located in South America, mostly in Brazil. It is the largest rainforest in the world, making it subject to deforestation. The Amazon is a tropical rainforest due to its climate, rainfall, and the fact that tropical rainforests are located near the equator. A Tropical Rainforest is the most diverse biome out of them all. As, it is home to the biggest rodent in the world, and smallest monkey. A biome this diverse offers many different sightings including the different kinds of animals and plants.
